Der Verband deutscher Kunsthistoriker, der nebenbei seit L\u00e4ngerem zu Recht \u00fcber seinen Namen diskutiert, ver\u00f6ffentlichte gestern einen Leitfaden f\u00fcr Bildrechte<\/a>. Der ist vermutlich nicht nur f\u00fcr Kunsthistorikerinnen interessant, deswegen verlinke ich den gerne.<\/p>\n

Bildrechte waren gestern auch mein Thema am Schreibtisch. Die Bilderliste ist final, ich arbeitete weiter die Institutionen ab, von denen ich Reproduktionen brauche und erfuhr nebenbei einiges, was mich etwas mehr aus der Bahn warf, als ich zun\u00e4chst gedacht hatte. Ich kann hier nicht n\u00e4her ins Detail gehen, weil ich nicht wei\u00df, was davon schon f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit bestimmt ist, aber ich muss meine Diss-Einleitung gro\u00dffl\u00e4chig \u00fcberarbeiten, aus Gr\u00fcnden, wie es so sch\u00f6n hei\u00dft. Ich haderte mal wieder damit, dass Wissenschaft nie final ist, dass jede Erkenntnis morgen schon veraltet sein kann und dass selbst cleverste Einleitungen, die die Leserinnen mit den ersten S\u00e4tzen in ihren Bann ziehen, nicht davor gefeit sind, von tagesaktuellen Geschehnissen pulverisiert zu werden. Immerhin was Sch\u00f6nes gekocht. Ich hatte noch Feta, der dringend wegmusste, bei \u201eMasterchef Australia\u201c gab’s eine Pasta-Challenge, also wollte ich dringend Pasta selbst machen und dabei den Feta verarbeiten. Es wurde dann eine Variation von einem Rezept aus Ottolenghis \u201eJerusalem\u201c. Erstmal simple Tagliatelle machen, zwei Eier, 150 g Mehl plus noch mehr Mehl, weil die Eier anscheinend riesig waren. Kneten, bis die Teigkonsistenz stimmt, einwickeln, rumliegen lassen.<\/p>\n

In einer Pfanne r\u00f6stete ich zun\u00e4chst Pinienkerne, entfernte sie und aromatisierte in derselben Pfanne \u00d6l mit Thymianzweigen, Knoblauch und Chiliflocken. In einem Mixbecher p\u00fcrierte ich TK-Erbsen mit Feta, ein bisschen Zitronensaft und \u00d6l, gab das Gemisch mit weiteren unp\u00fcrierten Erbsen ins \u00d6l, nachdem ich die Thymianzweige entfernt hatte. Tagliatelle kochen, bis auf einen kleinen Rest Kochwasser abgie\u00dfen, den Pfanneninhalt mit den Nudeln und dem Kochwasser vermischen und mit Zitroneneckchen, Pinienkernen und ordentlich Pfeffer dr\u00fcber servieren. Das koche ich heute mit der zweiten Teigh\u00e4lfte gleich nochmal.<\/p>\n

Ich habe es nur wenige Tage geschafft, dem Account von \u201eSophie Scholl\u201c auf Insta<\/a> zu folgen. Bestimmt gut gemeint und auch professionell gemacht<\/a>, aber ich finde es creepy.<\/p>\n

Im Deutschlandfunk lief vor ein paar Tagen eine gute halbe Stunde zu Scholl<\/a>, und das Buch der dort interviewten Autorin<\/a> liegt in den n\u00e4chsten Tagen f\u00fcr mich in der Stabi.<\/p>\n

Sehr lesenswert und mit vielen Links im Text. Before the coronavirus pandemic, the Whitney was getting more than 100,000 visitors a year. I asked Yvonne if they were different from the people who might typically visit a plantation. She looked down at the names of the dead inscribed in stone. \u201cNo one is coming to the Whitney thinking they\u2019re only coming to admire the architecture,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Did the white visitors, I asked her, experience the space differently from the Black visitors? She told me that the most common question she gets from white visitors is \u201cI know slavery was bad \u2026 I don\u2019t mean it this way, but \u2026 Were there any good slave owners?\u201d<\/p>\n

She took a deep breath, her frustration visible. She had the look of someone professionally committed to patience but personally exhausted by the toll it takes.<\/p>\n
